Present: Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Matt Maas, Bryce Lange, Tina Kozisek, Mark Barwald, David Myrom, Meagan Bermea, Anthony Bermea, Kevin Kispert, Chris Pluto, Daren Meier, Craig Britton, others.
The City Council approved the following items:
- Agenda, consent agenda, minutes, and accounts payable as presented;
- Property owner of 1201 6th St. NW two additional days to clean up their property or the City will abate the property;
- $3,500 to have American Leak Detection locate the leak at the aquatic center;
- $37,656.80 to have DeCook Excavating perform concrete work within the City;
- Allow the Bermeas to continue interior detailing work inside their garage, between the hours of 8 AM-5 PM for the next 3 week, beginning 9/13/2022;
- Resolution 2022-034, A Resolution Receiving Report and Calling for Hearing on Improvement;
- Resolution 2022-031, A Resolution Ordering a Report on Improvement;
- A proposal from Widseth in the amount of $10,850, and using SCDP funds that the city currently has from previous projects in order to cover costs;
- Resolution 2022-032, A Resolution Approving the Proposed Budget of the City of Dodge Center and Authorizing the City Administrator to Certify the Proposed Tax Levy Request to the County Auditor;
- Resolution 2022-033, to amend the legal description of the brush dump;
- Upgrade the Fire Department’s fire alarm system with Custom Alarm for $4,330;
- Proceed with repairs to the ambulance building and continue to pursue reimbursement from insurance;
- The 2022-2023 MMUA renewal contract and payment of $18,939;
- Use of the community center by Dodge County Public Health for a flu shot clinic November 2, 2022 and October 12, 2022.
