Present: Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Matt Maas, Lee Mattson, Mark Barwald, AJ Gengler, Jeremy Dostal, Deputy Josiah Rehmann, Tim Woessner, City Attorney and Kathy Freeman
The City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and consent agenda to include February 26, 2024 City Council Minutes, February 5, 2024 Planning & Zoning Minutes and Payment of Bills;
• Amendment to Ordinance No. 161, Subd. 10; Paragraph B, First Sentence by adding “Signage” after marquee;
• Adoption of Ordinance No. 161, Second Series – An Ordinance Amending City Code Chapter 4 Regarding Permitted Encroachments;
• Chief Dostal’s hiring of Colin Kimball, Kyle Olevson and Dave Schmelter pending background checks;
• Acting Director Gengler’s hiring of Austin Grow, a paid-on-call EMT;
• Ambulance Services support of Bill HF3992;
• Ambulance Services opposition of Bill SF4835;
• Application by staff for SMIF grant;
• Membership renewal in Chamber of Commerce;
• Food vendor parking on City property;
