Colton Predmore of the Milton Climbers 4H club showed this registered Holstein. Many 4H ers, like Colton lease animals from other dairy families so they can have the experience of showing at the fair. Colton least this spring yearling from the Alberts Brothers farm.
Josie Sauder placed first in intermediate showmanship in the open class junior show Saturday. Josie will be in tenth grade this fall and works on her family farm, Alberts Bros of Pine Island. She received her ribbon from her sister, Dodge County Dairy princess Amanda Sauder.

Fair board member Scott Schley spends a lot of his fair prep time in the skid steer helping people move in and then out with supplies tack and exhibits.
Linda Gray, 12 years as 4H food stand manager says it was a success this year even though they were short volunteers at times. Sunday the food stand closed several hours early due to lack of volunteers to fill shifts.
