On Halloween, 18 enthusiastic students from the Triton area schools came together for a community-wide Volunteer Day in West Concord. Partnering with the West Concord Parks Department and the Library, these teens dedicated their time and energy to making a visible difference around town.
At Lion’s Park, volunteers worked alongside Parks staff to spread fresh mulch throughout the playground and landscaped areas—helping keep the park clean, safe, and inviting for families. Meanwhile, another group assisted at the West Concord Library, where they helped barcode the entire CD collection and gave both the interior and exterior windows a thorough cleaning.
Their teamwork and positive spirit brought a noticeable shine to two important community spaces. The Parks Department and Library staff expressed their sincere gratitude for the students’ hard work and commitment to service.
Events like this highlight the strong sense of community pride shared by Triton students and staff. West Concord looks a little brighter thanks to these young volunteers!
