The partnership began when members of the Dodge County Historical Society attended a "Sipping with Seniors" event at Prairie Meadows. From there, the idea emerged to bring elements of local history directly to the senior living community.
Aligned with Jaybird Senior Living's year-long celebration titled "A Tapestry of Time: Stitching Together Our Story" which honors the diverse stories of the past, the partnership with the Dodge County Historical Society feels like a natural fit. Residents will have the chance to engage with history through curated exhibits and informative displays.
As part of the collaboration, Prairie Meadows will feature a portion of an exhibit curated by the Dodge County Historical Society. This exhibit will include informative posters and artifacts, providing residents with insights into the region's past. Additionally, new items will be periodically introduced to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
