Dustin and Drew Cook organized a raffle again this year to raise funds for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The two brothers are competing in the Dick Hiley Memorial Fishing tournament in Wabasha on May 3rd and 4th. This is the world’s largest fundraising fishing tournament and attracts over one hundred teams and is expected to raise more than a $1 million this year.
The Cook brothers own and operate the Concord Store and Locker and it is the third year they are using the raffle to support the cause. They sold 750 tickets for $20 each and total donations for the cause amounted to $12,144.00.
Eight people or groups are being acknowledged for donations over $500 in this effort. Concord Store and Locker, Holly J Burow CPA LLC, Alex Schmidt Memorial Fund, Fargaze Farms, Fred Braegelmann, Erik Gunhus, Dave Sathrum and VanZuielen Family Farms
