Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Lee Mattson, John Fox, Mark Barwald, Vanessa Hines, and Kathy Freeman.
Absent: Braedon Dostal
City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and consent agenda to include: Amend Payment of Bills to include $32 for State of Minnesota Water Exam fee, Minutes from June 9, 2025 Council Meeting, April 16, 2025 Airport Advisory Meeting, Hiring of Briana Engelkes – Paid-On-Call EMT, Drum Roller Payment and Payment of Bills as amended;
• Resolution 2025-021 – A Resolution Accepting Bid from Rochester Sand and Gravel of Mathy Construction Company in the amount of $791,815;
• Resolution 2025-020 – A Resolution Authorizing the City of Dodge Center to Submit a Point Source Implementation Grant Application to the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) and to Authorize City Officials to Execute a Grant Agreement on Behalf of the City of Dodge Center for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Rehabilitation Project;
• The $11,000 dust monitoring air quality testing;
• Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.;
• Extend abatement to July 14, 2025 and the code inspector to call prior to inspecting the Brett Thompson property.
