Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Lee Mattson, Marianne Sobek, Jeremy Dostal and John Fox
City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and Consent Agenda to include: Minutes of December 8, 2025, Council Meeting, the November 12, 2025 HRA Minutes and the Library Board Minutes from July 10, 2025, August 11, 2025, September 11, 2025, October 9, 2025 and November 13, 2025; Appointment of Jill Roussopoulos to HRA Board and Dan Fredrickson, Jason Fate and Cheryl Gillard to the Library Board, Personnel Policy Amendments and Payment of Bills,
• Resolution 2025-043 – Vacating a Portion of 2nd Avenue SE Upon Petition of a Majority of Abutting Landowners,
• Ordinance No. 168, Second Series Amending Sunday On-Sale License,
• Renewal of Harold’s Club Currency Exchange License with the State of Minnesota,
• Suggested slate of Fire Department officers effective January 1, 2026,
• Ordinance No. 167, Second Series Amending Chapter 7 of the City Code by Providing for Additional Liquor Licenses and as such, making Harold’s Club Eligible for a Sunday On-Sale Liquor License,
• Resolution 2025-044 Granting a Variance for North Setback in Industrial District,
• Resolution 2025-042 Amending Fees for Licenses, Permits, and Services for the City of Dodge Center,
• Resolution 2025-041 Fixing Rates and Charges for Municipal Utilities,
• Resolution 2025-038 – A Resolution Opting to Increase the Benefit Level for Firefighters who are Vested in the Statewide Volunteer Firefighter Plan,
• An additional pay run for 2025,
• Authorizing Current Administrative Assistant position to be a shared part-time position.
