Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a small-group workshop designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves. Whether you are helping a parent, spouse, or friend who lives at home, or in a living facility you will benefit from the tools presented in this program. Participants learn practical strategies to better handle caregiver challenges, skills proven to reduce feelings of guilt, anger and depression, tools to communicate more effectively, improve self-care and minimize stress.
This FREE workshop is sponsored by Active Aging Programs, Catholic Charities of Southern MN and Faith Lutheran Church.
It will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center and meets for six consecutive Wednesdays from 1:00p.m. to 2:30p.m. beginning on September 17.
Class size is limited and registration is required by September 10.
